Hello! Spring Break wasn’t nearly long enough.
It’s back to school for the kids and Aggie. For those of you who don’t know, Aggie is currently enrolled in the Arts Institute’s Culinary program in Sacramento. We cannot wait for her to complete this semester because word has it she will be perfecting her dessert-making techniques!
Monday morning started off with a bang. Good Day Sacramento interviewed Aggie bright and early “live” at Watts Winery. It turned out to be a beautiful day and the interview went smoothly. There was only one minor interruption or annoyance. This interruption was made by “Chunk.” Chunk takes up residency at Watts Winery. You might say he tried to upstage Aggie. Here is Chunk, in all his glory.
Check out the interview here:
The #GirlsThatWine are interested in planning some upcoming activities. We’re putting together a wine tasting trip, possibly to Nappa. Those of you interested, please contact us. You can respond here or get a hold of us via Face Book, Instagram or Twitter. If you have any ideas or upcoming events, we’d love to hear about them as well.
Finally, as you may or may not know, Soulmates Wines was a vision created by Aggie in honor of her later brother, Louie. Louie passed away from Leukemia in 2002. During Louie’s final days, he stressed the importance needed for blood donors, especially from minorities. Soulmates Wines is planning on holding a local blood drive. We will keep you posted as to when and where we will be holding it.
